Hidden cover revealed!!!!

Today is a great day to be a fan of Sophie Jordan’s Firelight trilogy.  The gorgeous cover for the third book in the trilogy, Hidden, has just been released on the author’s website.  Take a look at the pretty below!

This book is going to look great next to my copies of Firelight and Vanish. Hidden will hit stores in September, so if you haven’t read the first two books in this trilogy, you’ve still got plenty of time.  You won’t be sorry!

Sweet Shadows cover revealed!

For all of you Tera Lynn Childs fans out there, she has just released the cover of Sweet Shadows, the second book in her Medusa Girls series.  (Sweet Venom was the first.)  Check it out below!

The book is expected to be released sometime this year, but I don’t have a final date yet.

If you’d like more information on Tera Lynn Childs and her wonderful books (Sweet Venom, Oh. My. Gods., Goddess Boot Camp, Forgive My Fins, and Fins Are Forever), visit http://teralynnchilds.blogspot.com/.  The third book in her Fins series, Just for Fins, is set for a July 3rd release.

City of Lost Souls cover revealed!!!!!

If you just heard something that sounded like a little girl squealing, that was me.  I just saw the cover for Cassandra Clare’s highly anticipated City of Lost Souls (book five in the Mortal Instruments series), and I am absolutely in love with it.

Jace and Clary? I believe so! USA Today released the cover minutes ago, along with an excerpt from City of Lost Souls (which I will read as soon as I finish with this post). For the full article, go to http://books.usatoday.com/bookbuzz/post/2012-01-04/cover-reveal-of-cassandra-clares-city-of-fallen-angels/596348/1.  Now, the wait until May 8th will be positively horrible!

Endlessly cover revealed!!!!

I’m so excited about the cover for the third and final book in Kiersten White’s Paranormalcy series!!! It’s so pretty…and purple!!!  It’s even making me use excessive exclamation points!!!!  Check it out!!!!

I have to say this is one series where you can totally judge a book by it’s cover.  Both Paranormalcy and Supernaturally had awesome, beautiful covers, and the stories inside were equally awesome and beautiful.  If you haven’t read them yet, do so as soon as you can.  Endlessly doesn’t come out until July 24th (and the wait will likely kill me…or make me really cranky), so you have plenty of time to catch up.  What are you waiting for?  Start reading!!!!

If you’d like to find out more about this super-duper series and hilarious author Kiersten White, I urge you to visit http://kierstenwrites.blogspot.com/.

Bitterblue release info!!!!!!!

Last year, I read both Graceling and Fire by Kristin Cashore, and I was blown away by these amazing stories.  When I learned that a third book based on the character Bitterblue was in the works, I was thrilled, so I waited for news of its release.  And I waited.  And waited.  And waited some more.  Finally, thanks to Bookshelves of Doom, I received some much anticipated news yesterday.  Not only does Bitterblue have a release date (May 1, 2012), it also has a cover!  Check out the coolness below!

According to Kristin Cashore’s blog post on the book release, both the cover color and keys have special significance.  Apparently, this book takes place eight years after the conclusion of Graceling, and Bitterblue is the queen of Monsea.  For more information about Bitterblue, you can also check out this article from Publishers Weekly.

I am so excited that I’ll finally get to read Bitterblue’s story!  At an estimated 576 pages, I know this will be a hefty read, but I fully expect to devour it in no time.  The wait is nearly over!

Insurgent cover revealed!!!!

One of the best books I read this summer (or ever, for that matter) was Divergent by Veronica Roth.  I am eagerly anticipating the release of the second book, Insurgent, which will come out in May of 2012.  This week, the cover for Insurgent was revealed, and it has only whetted my appetite for more.

According to Veronica Roth’s website (http://veronicarothbooks.blogspot.com/), the tree on the cover is the symbol for Amity, which makes sense considering how Divergent ended.

I think this cover is awesome, and I’m more anxious than ever to have Insurgent in my hands.  The wait is going to be the end of me!

Clockwork Prince cover revealed!!!!!

Oh, happy day!  I just stumbled upon the official cover for Clockwork Prince, the second book in Cassandra Clare’s Infernal Devices trilogy (prequel trilogy to the Mortal Instruments series).  It’s soooooo pretty!!!!!

Is that Jem?  I thinks so!  YAY!!!!  (Sorry for all of the exclamation points, but I freakin’ love Cassandra Clare’s books!)

This book will be released on December 6th, but I don’t know if I can wait that long.  Cassandra Clare, why must you torture me?

Are you as excited about this book as I am?  Is that even possible?
